*Seeking Audio Transcribers with experience to work for a non-profit organization
*Full-time. Short Project
*This is an independent contractor, remote position. ( Work from Home )
Candidates must have experience transcribing interviews, market research and focus groups, medical or legal is a plus but not required.
Requirements:
*Transcription experience (Interviews)
*Excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation skills
*Ability to Google search for correct spelling of unknown words or names
*Ability to transcribe verbatim dialogue, “uhs, or, ums,” included
*Can dive right into the work with minimum direction; self-motivated
*Type at least 50 wpm
*Can follow required guidelines, procedures and meet deadlines
*Broadband internet access
*Previous experience with transcription software(s) and different media types a plus
*Familiarity with accessing cloud storage applications; i.e dropbox or box.com
*You should be knowledgeable in plugging in the start timecode into your transcription software. We do have a training video available for this step.
